Fireworks to Close Pearson Park:
Neshannock's annual Fourth of July celebration is set to go off with a few new restrictions this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Township's fireworks show, coordinated by Pyrotecnico, will blast off at 10:00 pm on Saturday. However, due to social distancing and gathering restrictions as a result of Covid-19, residents and visitors will not be able to view the fireworks from inside of Pearson Park, as many have done in past years. While the park will be open throughout the day on the Fourth, it will close at 8:00 pm to ensure adherence to public health and safety protocols. The fireworks will be visible at locations throughout the Township, with Pyrotecnico shooting the shells higher into the air. The Neshannock Township Police Department will assist in the closing of Pearson Park, as well as manage traffic flow before, during, and after the fireworks display.
